LEARN FROM EXPERIENCE: BEFORE DIVING RIGHT IN
Take it from us, 'Cause we've been there, done that!
Makenna: The Market Lamb Project is harder than a Market Hog Project because they take more time, responsibility and training. I would recommend it for someone who's up for a lot of work and a big pay off.
Allie: One cool thing about the Market Lamb Project is the amount of time you get to spend with your animal. You get to take your lamb for walks, and teach it showmanship, so there is a lot of potential to have a really gentle animal. It goes both ways though, if you're not walking, training and feeding it, then you will end up with a wild animal in the show ring and all you can do is hang on tight.
